Scionics has a number of tools available for direct deployment but also provides In-House Services and Consulting for custom projects.
Existing bioinformatics tools

DEQOR - high quality siRNA design
RiDDLE - genome-wide esiRNA database based on DEQOR
CUPID - cluster analysis and pathway mapping of high-throughput screening data
PORTOs - retrieving promoter regions of eukaryotic genomes
Scionics OrthologueDB
orFeus - finding weak sequence orthologuies (coming soon)
BLAST queue for bioinformatics cluster
In-House Services
Local Bioinformatics Infrastructure Consulting and Setup
Scionics can help you create and maintain your own in-house bioinformatics infrastructure including web-based sequence database search programs and databases (BLAST, etc).
Walk-In / Phone / E-Mail Service
Scionics can provide on-site staff to maintain a full-time bioinformatics walk-in service to assist scientists in biological research areas with bioinformatics applications. For those who do not wish to incur the expense of a full-time staff member, phone and e-mail assistance is also available. Scionics provides assistance with protein analysis, DNA sequence analysis, phylogenetic analysis, structural analysis, genome analysis, or EST sequence analysis.
Training and Courses
Scionics offers hands-on courses and training of scientists in the area of bioinformatics. Exact format and content can be determined on a case-by-case basis according to needs.
Consulting
For customers that are looking for a limited duration contract or single project consulting, we provide bioinformatics skills in the following techniques:
- Protein Sequence Analysis
- Structural Analysis
- Genomic Analysis
- EST-sequence Analysis
- Biological Database and Webpage Design
- High-Throughput Biological Data Mining
