While a version of the program with more features is currently under development, LipidInspector 0.9 already performs lipid profiling by multiple precursor and neutral loss scanning. The applied data-dependent acquisition methods allow the emulation of simultaneous acquisition of an unlimited number of precursor and neutral loss scans in a single analysis. No separation of lipids is required, and the the accuracy of identification and quantification is not compromised. This saves scientists significant time resources as well as achieves a significantly higher accuracy than with conventional methods.
